Easter is right around the corner and our little corner of the world is busting with energy, excitment and springtime happiness. The weather has been absolutely gorgeous so we have had the doors and windows open all day long and the kids have been soaking up the Vitamin D....which means they sleep well at night ;)
Connor has taken up soccer and is really enjoying it...or really enjoyed it, rather. Two weeks ago he had a nasty head to head collision with another little player that sent Connor to the ER with a super large goose-egg between the eyes. With the exception of 2 rockin' black eyes and a nice bruise on his head, he seemed no worse for wear until soccer practice last night. He is definitely a little timid now going for the ball and is being really cautious but still having fun.
Alaina has big news all around. She isn't walking or talking so she goes weekly to speech therapy and physical therapy will start coming to the house once a week starting in April. We are hoping to get Alaina caught up to her peers as quickly as possible so she doesn't lag too far behind. Otherwise, she is doing wonderfully and is very, very smart. We are constantly amazed when we watch her play and figure things out on her own.
