This morning as soon as Connor got on the bus, Alaina and I were headed to Samaritan Hospital. A few weeks ago, during another asthma-related doctor's appointment, the doctor noticed Alaina's heart murmur. This isn't the first doctor to notice a slight murmur, but for some reason, Alaina's pediatrician wanted to have it checked out to rule out any kind of issue.
Sitting for an echocardiogram with a 2-year-old is not a ton of fun but Alaina was a trooper and stayed (relatively) still during the entire process. Only towards the very end did she make it known she was over it.
While the technician thought everything looked good, the test has to be sent to Syracuse for a pediatric specialist to review it and we should have the results in a week or so. Crossing fingers...
