All the animals are out for viewing, off course, but tons and tons of area business and groups will set up tables where kids can play educational and carnival games for candy, face painting and new this year a really icky table with the boxes where you put your hand in blind and touch "body parts" like brains, intestines and eyeballs.
The kids actual costumes for Halloween are a muskateer and a butterfly but since I worked really hard on those costumes and 100% chance of rain and cardboard butterfly wings, I hopped over to Old Navy for a $5 costume sale and picked up a super cute cheetah costume for Alaina and Connor wore an old Spider-Man costume...with the help of the fabulous face painting guy we had some pretty cute spur-of-the-moment costumes and a lot of pre-Halloween fun!
